Our Story
BigfootBitesDelights combines my love of natural science illustration and chocolate making with the nature and lore of the North Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.
Our Ingredients
With an eye to keeping our chocolates affordable, our chocolates are organic and fair trade whenever possible and packaging is low-waste, compostable bags. The labels include Fun Facts About the Olympic Peninsula and can be re-used as bookmarks.
Our Chocolates
I custom designed my chocolate molds to reflect the icons of Pacific Northwest Region -- you won't find my Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch) chocolates anywhere else - they are unique to Bigfoot Bites Delights. BigFoot Chocolate Bars are available in nine different flavors: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate lavender, dark chocolate lavender, ruby chocolate, blond chocolate, white chocolate peppermint, dark chocolate peppermint and low-glycemic Cacao Fruit chocolate.
Where to Find BigFoot Bites Delights Chocolates
Available for purchase online or if you want to go searching for Bigfoot on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, my chocolates can sometimes sighted at local shops, farmers markets and festivals. Currently, BigFoot Bites Delights chocolate bars can be found some Saturdays at the Port Angeles Farmers Market or the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market, as well as at Mountainside Mail in Sequim, LongHouse Market and Deli in Blyn and at 1 of a Kind Art Gallery and Olympic Stationers in Port Angeles. Chocolate Bar Ingredients
Shipping Policy
Shipping is charged per order and is calculated upon checkout based on the destination and weight of the package and is quoted in real time to you by the carrier via our website.
We make every effort to ship efficiently and economically. We use USPS Priority Mail, and during non-holiday seasons, we generally ship Mon-Wed to avoid the chocolate “sitting” in a too-hot or too-cold environment over the weekend. In the busiest holiday seasons, we ship Mon-Fri.
Chocolates begin to melt at 75 degrees, so please note that if you are shipping to a warm destination (75F or higher) or are concerned about your box potentially sitting near a heater in a delivery vehicle, please add “warm weather shipping” to your order. We want all your chocolate to arrive in perfect condition, and we cannot guarantee that quality without the addition of the insulated box and cool pack.
Please note: all delivery times are estimates regardless of the service you choose. Please take this into consideration when ordering ahead of an event and allow for extra time in transit in case of a delay. We are unable to offer refunds for packages that are delayed in transit.
Package Tracking: You will receive an email with a tracking number when your package ships so you can follow your order and confirm its delivery.
If you need to make a correction, adjustment or cancel an order after you place it online, please contact us by email at bigfootbitesdelights@gmail.com within 2 hours of placing your order and we will make the change.
